Matina Pantelaki

Picture
Logistics & creative coordinator, Athens

Matina Pantelaki has a long and varied experience in community and grassroots organising in Greece, and Athens specifically, during its many years of crisis and challenges. She has hosted and coordinated international visitors from creative, cultural and political backgrounds and used her extensive knowledge and social skills to build long lasting connections and partnerships.

She was part of the logistical organising team during the 2014 conference
Crisis Scape, which saw hundreds of people from all over the world come together in Athens to discuss ‘the effects of the financial, sovereign and social crisis on public spaces in Athens’, and featured academics such as David Harvey and Antonis Vradis. A short film connected to the project and a publication which was a result of it, can be found below.

Matina has a background in business administration which, combined with her organisational and social skills, makes her an invaluable member of the creation of this current project.
