Daphne Sivetidis
Social Media Manager, Graphic & Webdesigner.
Daphne Sivetidis is an illustrator and graphic designer who works internationally and divides her time between London and Athens. Her clients include Liber AB (Sweden), Greenpeace International and Patakis Publishers (Greece). She has collaborated with the Benaki Museum in Athens and runs her own Etsy shop selling handmade screen printed goods and cards. She is partly self taught but has also studied design at Central Saint Martins and at Kingston University in London. She enjoys drawing cats and animals and draws inspiration from her surroundings as well as from imagination. She is also part of the Urban Pencils drawing club - a women led group of visual artists and designers based in Athens, and she freelances with the graphic design collective Black Button Studio.
She has a background in social and ecological justice campaigning, including working with minority groups such as underage asylum seekers in the UK. She has an MA in Migration from the university of Sussex and has been active in many migrant solidarity projects as well as grassroots organising in Athens and beyond. She has an international background, born in London to Greek parents she travels extensively and has lived in several European countries. She is interested in theoretical and political approaches to design and art and the blurring of these categories.
